Kasey and Matt had a gorgeous beach microwedding in Montauk during COVID-19. Venues were not open at the time of their wedding, so we used only the Montauk Lighthouse and Montauk Point State Park as the backdrop when capturing their photos! Although their reception was not at a Montauk venue (due to COVID regulations), I wanted to give you some great Montauk, and overall East End, wedding venue options, as well as some fun things to do and places to stay nearby now that everything is open again! If you're having a Montauk or East End wedding, please reach out to us! We'd love to capture your special day.
Check out these venues that are just a quick drive from Montauk! They are still on the East End, offer beautiful beach views, and are in towns that offer a variety of things to do:
Most, but not all, Montauk restaurants are very seafood focused, like restaurants in any beach town! I did my best to add in great restaurants that also offer much more than just seafood plates, check them out below:
The most obvious answer, of course, is hit the beach! But if you're someone who enjoys the beach for only a certain amount of time (like our daughter), check out some of our suggestions for other things to do below:
You could also travel to some surrounding towns such as Amagansett, Southampton, East Hampton, Sagaponack, and more to check out their restaurants, wineries, beaches, and shops!
If you're having your wedding at Gurney's Montauk Resort or Gurney's Star Island Resort, you can definitely get rooms for yourself and your guests (linked above)! If you're getting married elsewhere, or just want to have some other options for hotels, check out the ones below:
